Mirror of Love by Samna Ghani - A Time-Travel Romance

Time Changes Everything……
A new and exciting time-travel romance

Book Blurb

Emma Miller is an intelligent woman who believes in thinking with her head instead of her heart. A total cynic, she does not believe in fairytale endings nor is she one to swoon or pine for some man. She believes in attaining a comfortable existence. No complications. No worries. Her decision to visit Salar de Uyuni pretty much changes her entire perspective – about love, life and the truly important things in life.

Ashton Colyns is just like Emma. Cynical. Sarcastic. Witty. No idealistic notions for him either. But with his dry sense of humor and his irresistible charm, he manages to penetrate through Emma’s no-nonsense persona.

Midst the excitement and adventure and through the complicated mess with Henry Tudor and Anne Boleyn, will Ashton and Emma finally realize they were meant to be together?

Book Excerpt

“I never asked you to declare your love for Jeffrey or pretend to have any intention to marry him. That was never part of the plan. I only wanted to capitalize on the female art of conversation where you would hand over the note without arousing any suspicious. Clearly, that did not happen.” He walked on quickly, Emma’s hand still firmly in his.

“Ashton, you don’t seem to get it. That woman was not going to give your note the time of day. She is completely crazy and should be locked up.”

“Yes, that sounds like a delightful scheme but unlikely to happen. Life, my dear, is full of disappointments and your desire to see Lady Anne in a mad house may very well prove to be one for you,” he stated drily.

Emma giggled. She tried to control it but he was so straightforward and so unintentionally witty, she couldn’t help it.

Ashton paused and pulled her close. He was so tall and Emma felt her heart stop as he towered over her. He put up her chin and looked deep into her large, black eyes. “I must tell you, that of all your endearing qualities, this giggle, and then the subsequent effort to control your laughter, I find most enchanting.”

She took a deep breath and controlled the urge to throw her arms around his neck and kiss him. That wouldn’t do. No, that wouldn’t do at all.
